Prediction
McCain-Palin will lose. It will be close, but ultimately the mood of the country is not in their favor.
And then, barring another scandal bombshell of the unrecoverable sort (an affair, proof Trig is not her baby, etc.), Sarah Palin will run for President in 4 years.
We are going to be dealing with this woman for a long, long time.

I hope your prediction is accurate! I'm thinking about having an election night party...stocked with delicious Champagne to celebrate, and - just in case - loads of tequila and a stack of applications for Canadian citizenship.
Unfortunately I think you're right about Palin. She's going to be a thorn in our sides (and hopefully NOT President) for years to come, I'm afraid.
