Math is HARD

This post by a professional poker player in Vegas gives an excellent glimpse into all the factors that go into one hand of poker. Even if you've never played the game, this should give you an idea of just how difficult the game can be. Even people who have played professionally for 20 years would argue about whether to push or fold in this situation.

Apparently, later today we will find out what the player in question actually did and how it turned out. In the meantime, the comments also show how hotly disputed one hand can be.

Reading this stuff is getting me amped up for my next tournament and the exhilaration and frustration that will inevitably come with it.

UPDATE: Here's what actually happened.
