Live from Denver, it's the Georgia blogging corps!

A host of local politicos and bloggerati are in Denver right know to kick off the Democratic National Convention. Follow along as they tell the good gossip, the behind the scenes stories of the parties and floor fights, the political star sightings, and more from their birds eye view. It's so exciting to have so many people we know being part of this historic occasion!

Follow along at:

Tondee's Tavern was selected as the Georgia blog to attend the convention. They have a contingent there that will include Amy Morton of Georgia Women Vote and Bernita Smith from Blog for Democracy.

Blog For Democracy will feature posts from several individuals attending the convention, hopefully including newly elected Democratic National Commiteewoman Page Gleason, and Clinton delegates Angela Trigg and Bernita Smith.

The Unity Express chronicled the journey that Trigg, Smith, and other Clinton and Obama delegates took in a rented RV across the country over the past week on the way to the convention. Along the way they stopped at several important sites and registered new voters. (Thankfully for them, they're flying home after it's all over.)

Andre at Georgia Politics Unfiltered will cover the remaining minutae of the convention after he was able to obtain blogger credentials as well.
