Don't Look Now
Psst...Barack Obama has pulled ahead of Hillary Clinton and John Edwards in Iowa polling. Think that tremendous speech he made at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner and the positive press coverage in the state that came with it made an impression on Iowa caucus-goers?
Clinton is still comfortably ahead in New Hampshire, but if she does not win in Iowa the bounce that goes to whoever does may erase much if not all of her lead there. That makes the Iowa caucuses about as interesting and crucial as they were in 2004, when the unexpected win of Kerry propelled him to win in New Hampshire and go from life support to undisputed frontrunner in the span of about three weeks.

And guess who just pulled in his 14th legislative endorsement, tucking in behind Obama's 15 and Clinton's 16? It's going to be a fun caucus. :-)
