Whoops

I forgot to play in the first online blogger poker tournament today at PokerStars. Oh well. Guess that wasn't meant to be.

Meanwhile, a bunch of us from my usual weekly game are considering going to play in some of the World Series of Poker circuit event satellites in late November/early December in New Orleans. I've wanted to do this for awhile, but today when I had to contemplate budgeting to lose $500-$1000 it really hit me. This is a big commitment! This is like 3 major shopping trips! And I know it will be fun, but do I really want to throw away all that money?

Well, you only live once and this is something I put on my list of things I really want to do eventually. So I guess the answer is yes.
