Freakin' Weekend

Last night after staying at work far too late on a Friday, I slowly made my way to Friday Night Drinkin' Club. But my heart wasn't in it, even when this guy Ross responded to my request to see his driver's license "I'll give you my driver's license if you give me your shirt." (There had been some talk about my cleavage that preceded this.) I was tired and already anticipating a work-filled weekend. Such is my life these days.

In about 20 minutes I'll go get my hair cut, then my nails done, and then I've got to go in to work for the rest of the afternoon. If I am extremely lucky I will be out by 7. Who knows what fun thing I will do after that to shake off the stench of weekend work. I've been invited to a party but I really may just want to come home and watch TV.

I'm getting old.

Hi Sara, I don't have anything constructive to say about this post, but I've been feeling like I'm "going through the motions" recently which led me to Google which led me to your blog.

How totally unexciting, huh?

Anyway, keep on keepin' on. For what it's worth, you don't look or sound old...

You aren't that old!

Besides, being old beats being dead.....I guess...
