New Music Monday

I downloaded a ton of new music yesterday from a bunch of artists I'd never heard of before. It all started after I was trying to find a song I heard on the show Men in Trees (they have the best music on that show!), and that led me to a bunch of searches that led to more artists, etc. I just made a CD for my best friend that was the strangest amalgamation of musical styles but I so totally love it! Reggage, country, Pop, cabaret, it was all over the place.

And so I've decided that on Mondays I'm going to post about a new artist or group each week (when I remember and don't feel lazy.) Today's artist is Alice Peacock, whose song Leading with my Heart was on Men in Trees a couple weeks ago. It really hooked me in no small part because there is a verse about learning to walk before she could crawl, which is actually what I did as a baby. (Silly reason to like a song, I know, but oh well. I liked it.)
