Survivor: Segregation Island going well

Apparently the sponsors are just a wee bit jittery about this whole race war thing Survivor's latest season is trying to drum up. The show's biggest sponsor, GM, has ceased their sponsorship this season, as have Home Depot, Coke, Campbell's soup, Johnson & Johnson and Febreeze. Oh, they all say it had nothing to do with the race thing, they all just magically decided to stop sponsoring the show at the same time. Sure, it could be because the show basically became unwatchable last season. Or it could be that they all know a disaster in the making when they see it.
The important question, though, is without GM as sponsor will there be a car reward this season? (Though exec. producer Mark Burnett says they have a new automaker on board, none of the big manufacturers are owning up to it if they did sign on. I bet it's someone crappy like Kia.) If they don't have another auto sponsor and they can't include a car as the final reward, how can they play up the dreaded car curse?*
* And am I showing my former Survivor geekiness that I even know there is a car curse? Oops.
